Blast from the past

This is one of my favorite songs that I preformed with my high school select choir. This is not the group I performed with (we didn't hold our music or use a cd player! for shame!) but just a random video I found.  This song really requires a strong male section so I picked the version based on that. (However former CHSSC members be warned, they kind of butcher the last note.)
 Enjoy

Brian is rolling his eyes at me right now... but seriously, I'm so glad you found this. One of my absolute favorites. I think of it every year (really) and have always looked for sheet music, but never thought to search youtube. It's silly, but I have goosebumps!!

Also, I hate HATE when choirs hold music. How tacky. Amateurs!

I knew you would appreciate it!

I've looked for it before and never found it. This year it is everywhere.

Sheet music too!
Google knew what I was typing before I finished so it must have gained popularity some how.

i was trying to figure out if the video was chittenango. it kinda looks like the stage! but, i know that the conductor was def not mr. callaghan. but what do i know, i was not cool enough to be in select choir...with your stylish, yet conservative cosby sweaters :)

What is the name of the music that Dad and I will always remember as "our favorite" piece. Mr. Callahan only had you do it one year and I think it was your first year. I remember you "all" standing on the stairs of the Landmark and were just blown away. What WAS it Bec?

Sing to the Lord (a joyful song) is the song you are remembering mom. I can't find it on you tube, there is a more mainstream song by the same title so it is harder to find.
